Solar Consultant – CLOSER!

As a Solar Consultation Closer, you are on the frontlines of lead generation and client acquisition helping homeowners get rid of their expensive power bill and transitioning them to clean solar energy courtesy of Direct Solar America.

Your primary day-to-day activities include virtually consulting with homeowners and educating them on benefits of solar energy, which will result in a completed deal. In addition to company provided leads, you are responsible for direct homeowner lead generation, knocking on doors, setting in-home appointments, and closing high-ticket ($20k-$100k) contracts.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Use call, email, and text to identify the validity and potential of leads
  • Door-to-door lead generation and appointment setting
  • Represent Direct Solar America in an esteemed manner
  • Learn and use Solar CXM and other tools of the job
  • Closing deals (Once you are ready)
  • Become a professional solar expert with an understanding of all aspects of the product


  • Uncapped commission-based sales
  • Our standard is 4 sales/month (once fully trained)
  • Volume bonuses are available
  • Six-figure annual income expected, but in no way guaranteed
  • 1099-contractor

Consultation Setter

At Direct Solar America, we are committed to providing a white glove experience for all of our customers. We truly believe that people should have the opportunity to go solar at their home or business without having to fight their way through the process. We are expanding our team and looking for someone to schedule our solar consultation appointments.

Your job will be to reach out to customers who have requested more information and set a time for them to meet with a solar expert for a consultation. We will provide you with a script and in depth training to ensure you are confident and successful. This is a full time job located in Phoenix, Arizona. Remote candidates need not apply. These are not cold calls, all of these leads are people who have reached out independently for more information from our company.

The pay structure for this position is hourly + incentive commission. You’ll get paid a base hourly and receive commission each time an appointment you set shows up. Your earning potential is uncapped, the more appointments you set that meet with our solar experts the more you can make!

Some requirements for this position are:

  • Hard worker
  • Looking for LONG TERM work
  • 6-8 hours a day
  • You must be willing to learn and adapt

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience in solar
  • Call center experience
  • Experience working with systems based off of HighLevel
